Hike to the top of the hill where you will be able to have a scenic view of the landscape. This safari is more than a journey; it's an educational adventure that connects people with the food they eat and the land it comes from. Planned 3-day Agricultural Trips to Limuru, Naivasha & Kericho• Arrive at Lesioi Farm by 8:30 a.m: We will ensure you arrive at Lesioi Farm by 8:30 a.m is located near Limuru town. The Farm offers visits and tours to their dairy, arboretum, orchard, outdoor kitchen, and garden. At the farm, you will get a chance to engage in activities like animal care, plants care, a wide range of games, cycling, and many more. • Explore Kiambethu Farm from 11:00 p.m: A tour to Kiambethu Farm gives you an opportunity to learn about the history and cultivation of one of Kenya’s top export- tea. You will also be able to explore the serene grounds with a guide for insight into the traditional and modern uses of the native flora. It will take you approximately 25 minutes to reach Kiambethu farm from Lesioi farm. ~ Lunch Break - 1: 00 p.m ~ • Be at Brown Cheese Factory and Farm at 2:00 p.m: At Brown’s Cheese, you will be taken on a tour of the production factory and get an opportunity to learn about cheese making. Thereafter you will be served cheese and a tasting experience explained to you. • Visit Kawamwaki Farm at 4: 00 p.m: Kawamwaki Farm is just 20 minutes away from Brown's Cheese factory. A visit to the farm gives you an opportunity to enjoy a ride on horseback as you explore the coffee and tea plantations. • Start your Journey to Naivasha at 6: 30 p.m: After an adventurous tour to the farms you can start your journey to Naivasha at 6:30 p.m. It will take you roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Naivasha. Day 2 | • Visit the DeRuters Flower Farm at 8:00 a.m: DeRiters do a lot of experiments with various breeds of roses, and the results are stunning. They have a designated showroom where you can view the flowers on display and get to learn more about their processes. • Proceed to Aquila Farm 10:30 a.m: Aquila Farm is located 40km from Naivasha town on South Lake Road and encompasses 2,000 acres of mostly flat arable land. Here you will be able to learn about flower farming from propagation, harvesting, packaging, and dispatch. ~ Lunch Break - : 1:00 p.m ~ • Visit Lake Naivasha 2:00p.m: After a thrilling tour at Aquila Farm, you can proceed to Lake Naivasha which is just 14km from the farm. Here you will be able to see a variety of wildlife including hippos and various bird species • Arrive at Sanctuary Farm by 4:00 p.m: Sanctuary Farm is the perfect base to explore the surrounding area, boasting beautiful sites including Mt Longonot, rock climbing & gorge walking in Hell’s Gate, and game viewing in, among others. Day 3 | • Arrive at Chemusot Tea Farm at 9:00 a.m: We will pick you up from your hotel and head to Chemusot tea factory It will take roughly 3 hours and 30 minutes to arrive at the farm from Naivasha. Chesumot Tea Farm is a fantastic camping and fishing site. There is an artificial dam that is perfect for trout fishing and canoeing. You can also enjoy horse riding, cycling, photography, marathons, bird watching, and bonfires in this beautiful, unspoiled location. • Proceed To Kaisugu Tea Factory at 11:00 a.m: It will take 10 minutes to drive from Chemusot Tea Farm to Kaisagu Tea Factory. Here you will learn about how tea leaves are received and graded from the small-scale out-growers, dried, and transformed into Kenya’s world-class loose-leaf tea. Tea is also available for sale at the factory’s outlet. ~ Lunch Break - 1:00 p.m ~ • Visit Chagaik Arboretum at 2:30 p.m: You will need to drive a few meters on a murram road, through tea plantations, and through a gate that ushers you into the picnic grounds.
