• Be in Nairobi by 9:00 a.m: Most tourists base Nairobi as the starting point of their tours in Kenya but based on the location you are, we can arrange for you to be in Nairobi by 9 a.m. Nairobi city is accessible both by road and by flight.

• Go for a Game Drive at 9:30 a.m: The first stop on the tour is Nairobi National Park which is 30 minutes from Nairobi CBD. It displays a green landscape where you can see wild animals grazing and roaming freely. Some of the animals you cannot miss are zebras, lions, giraffes, and a few antelopes among others. Go for a tour of Sheldrick Wildlife Center at 11:00 a.m: It takes a 20-minute drive to get to Sheldrick Wildlife Center from Giraffe Center. The Park is open for tours for one hour only daily {11 a.m. - 12 noon}. The orphaned elephants are young and still vulnerable hence the need to protect them even by minimizing human contact. Go for Hikes in the Aberdare Forest Reserve and Ranges at 11:00 a.m: Do not miss out on connecting with nature by exploring the ranges on foot. There are various forest reserve trails that are developed such as Mount Satima cutting through Dragon's Teeth Point which offers a majestic view.

Go for Cultural and Historical Site Tours at 2:00 p.m: After lunch, visit the historical sites in the Aberdare National Park like the Mau Mau Caves (Dedan Kimathi Hideout) and the Mugumo tree which are of great importance and history among the Kikuyu community. Visit Sera Rhino Sanctuary at 1:00 p.m: It is about a 1½-hour drive from Samburu Sopa Lodge near Kalama Conservancy. The main attraction to the sanctuary is the encounter with the rhinos but the place is filled with fun activities. It is a place where you can relax, take a swim, and have a meal among other things. It is perfect for family tours and visits while in Kenya.

They have managed to transfer rhinos to game reserves across Africa.

Go for a Hike at Ngare Ndare Forest Reserve at 2:00 p.m: Drive for around 1¼ hours from Solio Ranch Conservancy for a hike in Ngare Ndare Forest Reserve. The lush green & indigenous forest provides the best ground for nature hikes; tourists hike up to 3 Km. There is a pool of clear blue & cold waters that one can swim in to cool off as well as a great area for bird watching.

Equator Marker at 4:00 p.m: The Equator Marker is around 50 minutes from Ngare Ndare Forest Reserve. Be in Kisumu by noon: Easily accessible either by road or by flight. Plan to be in Kisumu by noon and from your location, we can arrange for you to be there by the designated time. ~ Lunch Break - 1:00 p.m ~

Visit Mamba Village Kisumu at 2:30 p.m: It is a 10~20-minute drive from Kisumu Center to the Mamba Village Center. It is a sanctuary for birds, has a nature garden where tourists can walk around the park & relax, and also showcases the Nile Crocodile Species. The Park has a hotel alongside the animal park which makes it favorable for visitation by Kenyan tourists.

Day 2

Visit Ruma National Park for a Game Drive at 9:00 a.m: From Kisumu Center, you will drive for around 2 hours to get to Ruma National Park based on the traffic. It is located close to the shores of Lake Victoria, the largest inland Lake in Africa. A visit to Ruma National Park guarantees the sightings of Africa’s most rare and endangered antelope known as Roan antelope. The park is set as a sanctuary for the Roan antelope species hence dubbed the ‘The Last Retreat of the Roan Antelope’ and is also set most prolific and populous area in Kenya.

Day 3

A tour to Ndere Island at 9:00 a.m: You will drive for about 45-1 hour from Kisumu center to get to Ndere Island. It is a haven for over 100 bird species like grey-headed kingfishers and black-headed gonoleks among others as well as wild animals such as monitor lizards, snakes, hippos, zebras, baboons, waterbucks, rare sitatunga antelopes. warthogs among others.

Plan a Tour of the Kit Mikayi at 11:30 a.m: Drive for about 30 minutes from Ndere Island to reach the place where the Kit Mikayi Rocks are. To the locals who stay around this place, it is referred to be sacred where they conduct religious activities. It is a rock formation of about 40 meters. A visit to the rocks helps tourists to learn the history and beliefs of the rocks.

~ Lunch Break - 1:00 p.m ~

Go for a Bicycle Tour around Kisumu City at 2:00 p.m: It takes around 20~30-minute drive to Kisumu City from the Kit Mikayi Rocks. Would there be a better way to tour Kisumu town other than on a bicycle? Riding around the city with an experienced guide makes it more fun for tourists. Kisumu town provides the best ground for riding bikes. You can ride for around 2 hours before heading to Dunga Beach.

Head to Dunga Beach at 4:30 p.m: The journey to Dunga Beach takes about 20 minutes from Kisumu CBD by road. After a long day and cycling around the city, you can take some time to rest at Dunga Beach. You can also book a boat ride or if you are early, you can walk to the Dunga Hill Point which is the perfect ground for picnics.

Day 4

Visit Kisumu Impala Sanctuary at 8:30 a.m: Take a road drive of about 20 Minutes from the hotel to arrive at the Impala Sanctuary. It hosts the Impalas as the main attraction as well as vervet monkeys, sitatunga antelope, giraffes, zebras, and buffalos among other wild animals. From the Park, you can have a clear view of Lake Victoria and it also offers hiking opportunities.

Leave for Kisumu Museum at 11:00 a.m: It is only 15 minutes away from the Kisumu Impala sanctuary. It aims to exhibit the history, both culture and nature, of the Western community and surroundings. The Museum showcases cultural artifacts that purposely refer to Western people. It also has a snake park, tortoise pen, aquariums, and a crocodile site.

~ Lunch Break - 1:00 p.m ~

Visit the Art Market at 2:00 p.m: After a tour of the Kisumu Museum, head to the Art Market which is about 10 minutes (Manyatta) away. At these art markets, it is easy to find paintings, and craft items that you can acquire as souvenirs from the locals. In these places, you can find some of the finest and most fantastic arts as well as artists.

Go to Kiboko Bay at 4:00 p.m: It will take you around 20 minutes to get to Kiboko Bay from the Art Market. It is a tourist-friendly resort that is well known for sightings of hippos, has sandy beaches, you enjoy boat rides as well as go on nature walks and hikes. Book a boat ride in the evening as the sun sets and enjoy the cool air on the lake as the golden yellow rays hit the surface of the lake.

Day 5

Be in Nakuru by 10:00 a.m: Make sure you leave Kisumu by 6:00 a.m. to cover the 3~4-hour road drive. The journey to Nakuru from Kisumu is full of scenic and majestic views along the road as most of the place is covered by green and lush forest. With enough time, you can be relaxed and ready to start the tour as soon as you arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park.

Go for a Game Drive at 11:00 a.m: Lake Nakuru National Park is a great place for wildlife safaris with many bird species as well as several camping facilities. It is adjacent to one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. The major/main tourist attraction in Lake Nakuru National Park is the rhinos which are a guarantee to see when touring the park as well as the buffalos. The park is mostly lush green due to the huge water body which also provides water to the wild animals. Make sure you visit Lake Nakuru National Park for a great time in the jungle.

Day 6

A Visit to the Rhinoceros Sanctuary at 8:30 a.m: You can drive for around 20 minutes when the traffic is light from the hotel to the Rhinoceros sanctuary. The sanctuary acts as a haven for Rhinos especially the endangered white rhinos and the black rhinos. The sanctuary was established to address the catastrophic decline of the endangered white rhino species.

Head to Makalia Falls at 11:00 a.m: The falls are a 30-minute drive away from the Rhinoceros Sanctuary. It is located along River Makalia at the southern end of the National Park behind some unique rocks. It presents a waterfall of about 10 meters high of a sheer cliff which provides a cooling effect at the ground hence a tranquil area to set up a picnic or relax on a hot day.

~ Lunch Break - 1:30 p.m ~

Go Bird Watching at 3:00 p.m: After the lunch break is over, take around 40 minutes to get to the Babbon Cliff near Lake Nakuru Shores. From the Cliff, you will get an excellent view of the lake and Flamingoes resting and lined along the shores of the lake forming a pink-like layer on Lake Nakuru. The Lake is majorly known because of the Flamingoes.

Day 7

• Visit the Hyrax Hill Prehistoric Site at 9:00 a.m: Hyrax Hill Museum is about 15 minutes from Lake Nakuru Flamingo Resort & Spa Hotel. Check out of the hotel early and head to the Hyrax Hill Prehistoric site which is on a ground raised about 1900 meters above sea level giving you a clear and detailed view of the corners of the park that you have toured for 3 days. The National Monument is set on a rocky spur that roughly runs for about ½ a kilometer.
